After joining Moonstone in February 2009, Jill scaled back her hours in 2016. She now assists us as an on-call consultant for Phase I ESAs. Prior to coming to Moonstone, she was an officer in the U.S. Army for over twenty-four years. She has nine years of active duty experience and over fifteen years of reserve experience as a tactical communications and electronics officer, stationed in the U.S, Europe, and Japan. She also worked for Merck & Co., Inc. for more than thirteen years. At Merck, she held positions as quality control inspector, supervisor, validation engineer/scientist, and project manager. She has extensive experience in the areas of organization, supervision, quality control, environmental health & safety, and biological / contamination detection for air, surfaces & water systems. While at Moonstone, Jill was involved with Phase I/Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), groundwater and soil sampling, well installations, and air compliance work.

Interesting fact about Jill: She achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel while in the Army. There’s nothing funny about that, but it’s really cool.
